As I walk along the deep valley,     The path looks endless, so I tarry.

Looking down at the rugged dirt, To the left is darkness, where shadows lurk. To my right is rock, slick as glass. No way to climb up, and I can't go back, Searching for the strength I seem to lack. Where is He? Why did He leave? I trusted Him, I said I did believe. Why has He forsaken me?

Then I hear a voice from above. "I Am here," the voice does say, "To show you, my child, your very own way. Do not look to the left or right, Or down, or even fear the night. Oh ye, of little faith, I Am with you always, so why do you wait? Walk forward, my child, and shed not a tear. For even though you may sometimes forget it, I Am always here."
