 SOMETIMES WE MUST BE APART AND SEPARATE
God tells us that we are a peculiar
people. Therefore we should not be like "the world".
If someone is dishonest and
oppressive, must you forever dwell with them and be oppressed forever? No, of course not.
We should however, pray for them, that the Lord would show them the error of their ways.
We must not hate those who oppress or mistreat us. Let's pray for them and Love them, but
this does not mean doing as they do, or forever dwelling with them.
Jesus forgave those who oppressed
Him when He died on the cross. We should be willing to do the same. Forgiving is Loving.
II Corinthians 6:17-18 -
"Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty."
Prayer: Dear Father bless us
forever with Thy Infinite Love and help us keep our eyes upon Your Love, and leave old
things behind. Amen
