Psalm 127:1 - Except The LORD build The House, they labour in vain that build it: except The Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

Psalm 147:5 - Great is Our Lord, and of Great Power: His Understanding is Infinite.

Luke 6:47-48 - Whosoever cometh to Me, and Heareth MY SAYINGS, and DOETH THEM, I will show you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid The Foundation on A ROCK: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon A ROCK.

I Corinthians 3:11 - For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

I John 5:20 - And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an Understanding, that we may Know Him that is True, and WE ARE IN HIM THAT IS TRUE, EVEN IN HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. This is the True God, and Eternal Life.

SO you see, the Sayings of Jesus is the foundation, or the Rock that we must build our understanding upon.
