 COMPOSURE AND PEACE OF MIND COMES FROM UNDERSTANDING GOD'S LOVE
Have you seen people who astound
you with self-composure and peace of mind; when you know personally that their
circumstances indicate a multitude of seemingly insurmountable problems?
The child of God is able to
remain composed and have peace of mind because they know God provides all their needs.
Trust and understanding the Lord brings assurance. As trust and understanding increase,
the greater self-esteem the child of God will have.
The fruits of the Spirit (Love,
joy, peace, gentleness, meekness, kindness) demonstrate God's Love at work. When we have
the fruits of the Spirit, we are an example to others.
Matthew 6:25 - So I tell you,
don't worry about the food or drink you need to live, or about the clothes you need for
your body. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothes.
Matthew 6:33-34 - The thing you
should want most is God's kingdom and doing what God wants. Then all these other things
you need will be given to you. So don't worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have
its own worries. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Prayer: Dear Father I know
that Heaven and earth is full of Thy Goodness, help me to see Thy Goodness in my life and
in the lives of others. Amen |
