Baby Blankets for Special Needs Babies.

Two members from the USA have volunteered their time and talents: They are Pat and Janet.

There is also another volunteer from Ontario, Canada. Her name is Christine.

Eleanor has received a huge box of baby blankets of all types including fleece, thermal and receiving blankets. They were donated by a loving church, Eastside Baptist Church from Russellville, Kentucky.

Miss Fatin Yaacoub in Egypt has received two blankets from Eleanor that were sent to her for two children with cancer.

Little Lucas Doe in Minnesota received a blanket from Doreen(NC) He is a precious 4 month old who has a seizure disorder.

Eleanor(Florida/USA) sent a baby blanket made by an anonymous volunteer to little Andrew Hooker in Indiana/USA. Andrew was born with water on the brain and has epilepsy.

Eleanor sent a baby blanket donated by Eastside Baptist Church(Kentucky/USA) to baby Taven Parrish

(South Carolina/USA) Taven is 9 months old and has a brain disorder.He is also blind in one eye.

His mother Kasie has received the blanket and is very touched that strangers would send a blanket to her child. She trusts that the Lord will heal Taven.

Eleanor sent a baby blanket to Kayli Eckinger in Pennsylvania, USA. Kayli is 22 months old and has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor. She is going to receive three months of chemotherapy to shrink the tumor and the doctors believe they will be able to remove all of the tumor surgically then. Kayli's blanket was donated by Eastside Baptist Church in Kentucky, USA.

Ernestine(MI/USA) has completed four baby blankets. She will be sending them to Eleanor(Florida/USA).

They are soft flannel with baby bear angels, baby zoo animals, Noah's Ark and baby rabbits on them. She has crocheted a lacy edge all around them. There is lots of love in these blankets!!

Sergei (Ukraine/Russia) has received another baby blanket from Berit (Denmark). Sergei says he hopes to have pictures of the babies with their blankets soon.

Little Kayli (Pennsylvania/USA) has received her baby blanket donated by the Eastside Baptist Church in Russellville, Kentucky. Kayli's aunt, Lilly, says Kayli likes to get down on the floor and roll around on it.

Little Kayli can feel the blanket has a special blessing on it.

A sweet little baby patchwork quilt with a white satin edge was received from Barbara Rainey(Missouri/USA) by Eleanor(Florida/USA). She also sent some adorable crocheted and knitted baby hats and booties. Many blessings of love have been incorporated into these stitches!

A friend of volunteer, Doreen( NC/USA) named Mary, sent a beautiful baby blanket to Eleanor(Florida/USA). It is a pretty pastel color with pink, white, and green variegated yarn knitted into parquet squares. A baby will certainly stay happy and warm when wrapped up in this blanket.

Eleanor(FL/USA) made and sent two baby blankets to Andy and Ali( West Virginia/USA). They are 5 year old twins who have cerebral palsy and are wheelchair bound. They need a special blanket of love to wrap them up on their ride to school every day.

A gorgeous baby blanket was received from Barbara in Missouri/USA. It is round and crocheted in variegated colors of teal, blue and cream. The love in her blanket will certainly warm a special needs baby.

Doreen from North Carolina/USA, sent a beautiful baby blanket crocheted with pastel colors of blue, green, pink and white variegated shades.This blanket is covered with many prayers and blessings of love.

Little baby Andrew in Indiana/USA received his blanket contributed by an anonymous volunteer. His mother, Doris, says he really likes it.

Joan/New York/USA sent Eleanor/Florida/USA an off white shell pattern baby blanket for a special needs baby.

Eleanor/Florida/USA mailed a baby blanket to three year old Marlo in Switzerland. She has been undergoing skin grafts for many months due to burns. Her mother, Natalie, says Marlo has a great attitude and sings all the time.

A blanket made by Mary Hector(Minnesota/USA) was received and distributed by Kristie West(Texas/USA). A friend of Kristie's, Tammie, received the blanket and gave it to her nephew, Jordan. He had been very ill for three months. Recently his mother was going to take him to the Emergency Room because he was rattling in his chest. Jordan's mother grabbed the blanket and wrapped him up in it. He immediately began to get better and the rattling in his chest went away. She is praising the Lord. Aunt Tammie says the the Lord has been dealing with Jordan's mother in the area of needing to get saved. Prayers for Jordan and his mother seemingly are being answered through the little blanket made with love and prayer. Little Jordan is staying wrapped in the blanket all the time now.

Scott (Nebraska/USA) has received the baby blanket made by Mary (North Carolina/USA) for his son, Logan. Baby Logan has kept warm although the temperatures have been below zero in Nebraska this week and the wind chills have been in the minus 30's.

Marlo's mother, Natalie, has received the blanket we sent to them in Switzerland. She says Marlo likes the blanket and it is very beautiful. Eleanor (Florida/USA) made and mailed the blanket with prayers of love and protection.

Sweet volunteer, Jaya Samson (India), needs prayer for healing of a female problem. She does not want to have surgery. She wants to give God all the glory for healing her.

Comforting Special Angels baby, Lauren Elizabeth (Florida/USA) has an earache and needs prayer. Please say a prayer for this precious baby.

, we were able to make and distribute over 100 blankets to "special needs babies" all over the world. Because of volunteers like you who gave of your time, talents and love the babies were wrappped in blankets made with prayers of love and protection.

Baby Shomari, a little boy, . His mother, Graco, requested a blanket for him because he needs prayers of love and protection. Today, a blanket made with love and prayer by Eleanor (Florida/USA) was mailed to California/USA for Shomari. Natalie(Switzerland) told Graco about receiving a baby blanket for her daughter, Marlo, from Comforting Special Angels. Natalie advised Graco to contact us.

Please pray for 2 year old Steven with autism in Oklahoma/USA. His mother, Staci, has requested prayer for him and believes he can be healed.

Norma in Minnesota/USA would appreciate your prayer for her four month old grandson (Joshua) who is hospitalized and is on a respirator due to cardiomyopathy. He is awaiting a heart transplant.

Ernestine would like prayer for her four year old grandson, Philip, who has had trouble digesting food and has had no appetite They live in Michigan/USA.

An infant, James Allan, born on Christmas Day is in a pediatric hospital in Minneapolis,

Minnesota/USA Valerie in Michigan/USA has requested prayer for him. His prognosis is very poor.

Doreen(North Carolina/USA) sent a beautiful blue blanket to little Steven, age 2, in Oklahoma/USA. Steven has severe autism. It was made with many prayers of love, protection and healing for Steven.

Graco(California/USA) has received the baby blanket made for her newborn baby, Shomari (a boy). She is very pleased and appreciates the love and the prayers in the blanket.

John (Florida/USA) has received the blanket for his grandson, Adam, who was born a few days before Christmas . He feels that his grandson will have many prayers to protect him.

A baby blanket made by volunteer, Mary in North Carolina/USA, was sent to baby Jade, who is one year old, in Iowa/USA.

She has been severely burned over 70% of her body.

A baby blanket was sent to baby James Allen who was born on Christmas day . He is on a ventilator in the hopital in the Milwaukee area. He is the nephew of Valerie 's co-worker and friend in Michigan. The blanket was mailed today and Valerie will deliver it to her friend at work for baby James Allen. The family says that they are expecting a miracle healing for baby James, but only in the Lord's time. The blanket was lovingly and prayerfully made by Barbara in Texas. It is a cute patchwork quilt with a white satin binding.

Baby Marie, sixteen months old, who was burned badly in a fire was sent a baby blanket in care of her grandmother, Joy in Iowa today. The blanket was made with love and prayer by Eleanor(Florida/USA). Prayers for Marie are still needed.

Judy (Georgia/USA) has mailed some quilted baby design fabric to Joy (Alabama/USA). Joy will be able to make about 6 baby blankets out of the material. Joy will donate the baby blankets to her local women's shelter in the Mobile, Alabama area.

Valerie in Michigan/USA has received a baby blanket made by Barbara in Texas/USA. She is just thrilled with it and will give it to her friend so she can take it to little James Allen. Little baby James is doing some better, but has a long way to go. His doctors in Minneapolis, Minnesota/USA say that they may be able to send baby James back to a hospital in Michigan in maybe two weeks, but he will still have to be hooked up to a machine to keep his lungs cleared out. Transferring little James back to Michigan will mean his family will be much nearer to the hospital- only 13 miles from their home base. Please keep little James in your prayers.

After prayer, it has been decided to change the name of this ministry to "Comforting Special Angels". The new name fits more accurately what we do. We make and give baby blankets to special needs babies so that they will be comforted by the prayers and blessings that are on each one.

Eleanor (Florida/USA) received a cute multi-colored baby sweater and matching booties from Barbara in Texas/USA. They certainly reflect her love of special needs babies.

A blanket was sent by Eleanor (FL/USA) to a one year old baby, Stephanie, in Indiana/USA. Stephanie has a tumor on her eye and needs everyone's prayer that the Lord will heal her eye. Linda (Indiana/USA), Stephanie's grandmother, will take the blanket to her. Linda says that little Stephanie's

entire family needs prayer.

Mary (North Carolina/USA) made a very beautiful, knitted mint green baby blanket. It was received by Eleanor (Florida/USA) today. Aspecial needs baby will really be blessed by Mary's handiwork and prayers of love.

A beautiful mint green blanket made by Mary(North Carolina/USA) was mailed to a 15 month old named Justin in California/USA. Justin has been having seizures and his mother, Cynthia has requested prayer for him.

A baby blanket made with love and prayer made by Eleanor (Florida/USA) was mailed today to little Kayla Marie in Arizona/USA. She was born prematurely and on weighed only 1 pound 9 ounces. Her great grandfather, Joe (Kansas/USA), has requested prayer for her. Little Kayla is on life support. The great grandfather says he wants prayer for little Kayla so that soon she will be able to go home with her mother and grandmother so that they can teach her about Jesus.

Mary(North Carolina/USA) delivered a baby blanket, which she made, to Becky(North Carolina/USA) for little Beanna. Little Beanna who is 4 years old has only one lung and lives in a single parent family. She never sees her dad. Becky keeps her in day care when little Beanna is well enough. She will soon be going to Chapel Hill, North Carolina for some medical tests. Mary and Becky only live 14 miles from each other. They are going to be good friends.

A baby blanket made by Eleanor (Florida/USA) was mailed to Judy(Georgia/USA) for little Miosha, a four year old little girl, who has respiratory problems and has been in the hospital. The baby blanket was made with love and prayers of protection for Miosha. Miosha needs many prayers for love, healing and protection.

Berit(Denmark) sent two lovely baby blankets to Eleanor(Florida/USA). One is a bright, primary multi-color variegated and the other is a beautiful teal color. Her blankets will certainly keep a baby warm with many prayers of love knitted into it.

Eleanor (Florida/USA) received a large box of blankets from Nancy(Utah/USA). She sent six sweet little blankets that little preemies will be able to sleep warm and safely in her crocheted baby blankets.

Judy (Georgia/USA) received a blanket for little Miosha who is four. She has many medical problems and needs many treatments at home. The blanket was made by Eleanor (Florida/USA).

A beautiful cream and teal baby blanket was received from Barbara (Texas/USA) by Eleanor (Florida/USA) Barbara also included two pairs of baby booties and a cap. Many prayers of love and protection will certainly bless the baby who receives these items.

Today a beautiful multicolored baby blanket knitted by Berit(Denmark) was mailed to Zachery in Kentucky/USA. Zachery, who is 6 months old, has a serious illness and is in the hospital. He was born with an abnormal kidney. Berit's blanket will certainly wrap up Zachery in lots of love and prayers.

Eleanor (Florida/USA) mailed a baby blanket (teal and cream) to Judy Hammett(Georgia/USA) for four year old Markeis. He is a special needs foster child of Judy's good friend, Kathy. Markeis has pancreatitis and is undergoing many treatments at the hospital.Please say a special prayer for him as it is reported that he has gone beyond all medical treatment. We know God is able to answer all prayers. The baby blanket was made by Barbara Rainey(Texas/USA) with love and prayer.

A beautiful teal blanket made by Berit (Denmark) was sent to Bryton in Indiana/USA His aunt, Missy, says that Bryton is less than one month old and is having respiratory difficulties. The doctors are doing tests to see if they can find the problem. Bryton's mother had cancer at age 8 and she was told that she would never have any babies. Thet are so thrilled and are calling Bryton a miracle baby. Berit's baby blanket will certainly wrap Bryton in lots of love and prayers.

into her blanket.

Missy (Indiana/USA) received a blanket for her nephew, Bryton. Bryton is three weeks old and is still in the hospital. He is in isolation. Tests are still being run. Missy and Bryton's mother say they really appreciate the blanket and the prayers. Berit (Denmark) knitted the blanket with lots of love and prayer.

Mary Ann (New York/USA) sent two beautiful baby blankets to Eleanor(Florida/USA). One is a baby block sampler bordered by cluster stitches and the other is a multi-colored pastel pillowghan. Her work is exquisite and the babies who receive her blankets will truly be blessed with all the love and prayers that went into her blankets.

A baby blanket(a sweet granny square, pastel pillowghan) crocheted by Mary Ann in New York/USA was mailed to Alicia, New Jersey/USA, for her five month old preemie, Basil. Basil has had many medical problems and was just released a few days ago from the hospital. The blanket was mailed by Eleanor, Florida/USA.

A beautiful sampler afghan in white, pink and blue was mailed to Savanna Spencer. Savanna has leukodystrophy, which involves her brain. Savanna lives in Michigan/USA. The blanket was made with lots of love and prayer by Mary Ann from New York/USA.

Savanna's parents stated in an Email that they received the blanket for Savanna. They are very appreciative to have an organization that reaches out to special needs children, such as Savanna. They hope to be sending pictures soon of Savanna with her blanket. They say the prayers are really a blessing.

A beautiful geometric design baby blanket crocheted with green, yellow and white yarn was crocheted by Joan. New York/USA. It was received by Eleanor, Florida/USA. A baby will feel loved and comforted when they are wrapped up in this blanket.

A beautiful shell stitch baby blanket in yellow and edged with a pastel variegated yarn that was donated by Marie in Massachuesetts/USA was sent to baby Ryan in Florida/USA by Eleanor (Florida/USA). . He has been undergoing extensive hospital treatment but seems to be improving some. His grandmother, Dot, requested a special blanket for him made with love and prayer.

A beautiful white shell stitch baby blanket was received from Shirley in Florida/USA. Her work is lovely and a baby will have sweet dreams wrapped in her blanket made with love and prayer.

Little Anna Rose, foster child, of Ken and Laverne (Florida/USA) received a beautiful baby blanket made with love and prayer by Eleanor (Florida/USA). She had to have emergency surgery this past weekend and needs your prayers. She is eight months old.

Eleanor (Florida/USA) made and mailed a multi-colored crocheted baby blanket to eight month old, Daniel Brody. Lots of special love and prayers were stitched into this blanket.

His grandmother, Linda, lives in Nevada and will take the blanket to him. He is hospitalized in a children's hospital with a tumor on his spine. He has had surgery on the tumor and they are doing chemotherapy to shrink the tumor more. Before the sugery, he had lost the use of his legs. Now he has regained move-ment in one leg and the opposite foot. This baby needs your constant and fervent prayers.

A box of 8 baby blankets was received by Eleanor (Florida/USA) from Jannette in Texas/USA. Included in her box were blankets from Lee Ann (Oklahoma/USA) she also made 2 pairs of booties , Iris (Pennsylvania/USA), Bonnie (Oregon/USA) and also herself. They are all beautiful and will bless a special needs baby with love and protection.

Mary Ann (New York/USA) mailed Eleanor (Florida/USA) a beautiful blue and white striped baby blanket. It was received today. Many prayers of blessings were prayed on this blanket and it will greatly bless the baby who receives it.

A beautiful cluster stitch in variegated colors baby blanket made by volunteer, Bonnie (Oregon/USA)

was sent to baby Jeffery in Georgia/USA. He just turned 3 years old last month. His left eye had a cancerous tumor (Retinal Blastoma) and he is now blind in that eye. The cancer has gone to the other eye and although the doctors have treated it, the cancer has come back twice. Many prayers are needed for this baby. His granddad, Jim, says the family is praying for a complete healing. Eleanor (Florida/USA) mailed the blanket.

Baby Myia (Pennsylvania/USA) who is two months old has spinal menengitis. She has lost 80% of her brain functioning. A friend of Myia's mother,Trista, requested prayer for Myia. A baby blanket made of pastel green, white and pink variegated yarn was made with love and prayer by Bonnie (Oregon/USA). Eleanor (Florida/USA) mailed the blanket.

A jewel toned variegated baby blanket knitted by Berit (Denmark) was received today by Eleanor(Florida/USA). Many stitches of love and prayer will warm a baby when they receive this blanket.

Eleanor (Florida/USA) received a box of lovely baby quilts from Amberly (Iowa/USA). Her blankets made with love and prayer had the following themes: aviation, tropical fish, Winnie the Pooh, sampler, and pastel butterflies. The babies who receive these quilts will be truly blessed.

A box of 3 beautiful blankets made by Toni (Missouri/USA) was received by Eleanor (Florida/USA)

The crocheted blankets were made with various stitches: double crochet, single crochet and shell stitches. An assortment of beautiful yarns was used to make the blankets: blue, bright primary colors variegated, bright yellow

and pink. Lots of love and prayer went into the making of these blankets and certainly will bless the babies who will receive them.

A beautiful pink and white diagonal striped, crocheted, baby blanket made with love and prayer by volunteer, Lee Ann (Oklahoma/USA) was mailed to volunteer, Shana (WA/USA) by Eleanor (Florida/USA). Shana plans to distribute the blanket to the children's unit in her local hospital to a "special needs" baby.

Berit (Denmark) made and sent a beautiful baby blanket made with love and prayer. The colors are muted pastel tones in a variegated yarn. The blanket has a pretty little shell border all the way around the blanket. Eleanor (Florida/USA) .

Linda(Nevada/USA) emailed Eleanor (Florida/USA) and said that her grandson, Brody (Nevada/USA), had received the blanket (made by Eleanor- Florida/USA) last week. She says to still be in prayer for him as his condition is still serious. She says he cuddles and loves the blanket, particularly when he is taking a nap.
